GREETINGS COLLEAGUES:
CPFA wanted to hear from you all to find out from PART-TIME FACULTY what is currently being done in California with regard to your working conditions with Covid -19, which is temporarily changing how we interact and teach our students. We know you all are scrambling to make changes, which will provide your students with the best classes possible under these difficult circumstances.
Many of you responded to our survey and let us know what and how your transition to online from face-to-face teaching has been done at your institutions, as well as sharing other details about how your institution (California Community Colleges, CSU or UC) is dealing with this crisis. We received responses from about 30 people regarding the situations at 17 colleges or districts. We will be sending the survey out again at the end of the semester to get information about the summer and fall semesters.
